This course offers a range of available equipment for training including, but not limited to, jackhammers (air/electric), grinder, air compressor & attachments, rammers, plate compactors, water blasters and submersible pumps (petrol/electric). The successful trainees will receive a statement of attainment and plastic wallet card. Equipment & Services Catalogue // Training Course Description We offer a restricted height scaffold awareness course designed for those requiring knowledge and practical skills associated with the erection and dismantling of aluminium scaffold up to a 4 metre working height. This course is based on Australian Standard 1576 and various codes of practice. It covers: WHS Requirements, Components of scaffold, site and job planning, pre and post checks, report and record faults and erecting/ dismantling of Scaffold towers. Successful trainees will receive a certificate of completion and plastic wallet card. Course Description We offer two types of chainsaw courses: 1. Safe Operation of Chainsaws course is designed for any worker who uses a chainsaw in any application. This course covers the knowledge and skills required to identify site safety requirements, identify chainsaws and their operation, starting/stopping, tension/compression cuts, chain sharpening/ tensioning and refuelling. The course is comprised of both theory and practical training. Successful trainees receive a certificate of completion and plastic wallet card 2. Chainsaw Level 1 - Trim and cut felled trees course is designed for any worker who uses a chainsaw to trim and cut felled trees. This course covers chainsaw safety including risk assessments and legislation, chainsaw pre and post maintenance, assessing timber and cutting requirements and cross cutting techniques. Successful trainees will receive a statement of attainment.
